Technologies known as artificial intelligence are on everyone's lips following rapid advances in recent years. The public debate on how opportunities should be exploited and risks regulated is in full swing.
Against this backdrop, the lecture will look at the relationship between artificial intelligence and crime from a criminal law and criminological perspective. On the one hand, new crime phenomena associated with new technical possibilities will be analyzed. On the other hand, the potential and limits of use by security authorities will be highlighted, both in preventive police work and in criminal investigations and criminal proceedings.
The lectures will take place as face-to-face and livestream events. With this booking option, you can decide individually for each date whether you would like to attend the lectures with like-minded people in the Audimax or follow the event conveniently from anywhere in the world via livestream.
