Steps, a missing elevator, doors that are too narrow or cupboards that are too high: less than 3 percent of homes in Germany are barrier-free, the shortage is huge. But how can this be changed - through new construction or conversion? In his lecture, Lars Müller uses examples from Bremerhaven to present the challenges and requirements that exist and how barrier-free living can be achieved.

The lecture is part of the program accompanying the special exhibition "mittendrin. Between disability and self-determination".
