WALDEN VI: Tremor Festival für zeitgenössischen Sound, Music und Performance

A tremor is a quiver, a barely perceptible tremor, a vibration in the fabric of reality, a wavering in the balance of things. In music, this quiver becomes a vibration, a pulse, a frequency. Walden VI: Tremoraims to make this quiver audible. Artists working in the fields of sound art, experimental music, performance, and installation are creating works that respond to the specific conditions of the forest. The forest becomes both an instrument and a stage. Voices, sounds, resonances, and movements unfold among the trees, forming a network of vibrations.
Walden is the practice of sensitive perception in nature: a way to hear and feel vibrations and sounds, to attune oneself to the rhythms of the surroundings. At the same time, Walden means becoming part of these movements and responding to them.
