Was Freude macht
In the organizer's words:
Artworks from the art studios of the Alzheimer Society of Munich (AGM):
Creativity knows no bounds: In the AGM art studios in Berg am Laim and Kleinhadern, a sense of community comes to life. People with dementia and their loved ones pick up brushes and chalk together to give free rein to their feelings and imagination. Guided by an art therapist, the groups laugh, sing, discuss, or simply work in deep concentration.
Creating together brings a sense of pride and variety to everyday life—and now culminates in a special exhibition. Immerse yourself in this colorful, inspiring world and experience art that comes from the heart!
The opening reception will take place on September 17, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.—featuring welcoming remarks and an introduction to the artists.
