The “Valentin” bunker is the ruin of a German Navy submarine shipyard from World War II. Between 1943 and 1945, thousands of forced laborers from all over Europe and North Africa were put to work here. On a guided tour, you’ll explore this historic site with us and learn how the racist system of Nazi forced labor worked.The venue has limited accessibility.
Action Weeks 2026 in Northern Bremen
Readings, workshops, guided tours, and hands-on activities—from September 9 to 25, 2026, the Action Weeks against Exclusion and Discrimination will take place in northern Bremen. Together with you, we want to advocate for diverse ways of life, participation, and solidarity. Let’s take a stand against the far right and all forms of group-based hostility!
Since 2017, the Action Weeks have been organized by a broad coalition of associations, organizations, and committed individuals from the region. As organizers, we aim to encourage people to critically examine their own prejudices. In addition to raising awareness about discriminatory structures, the events also focus on networking, exchange, and empowerment. Come join us—we look forward to seeing you!
