The liver is one of our most important organs and yet we often pay too little attention to it. Yet liver diseases are playing an increasingly important role in our society: fatty liver, viral hepatitis, liver cirrhosis - Professor Dr. Christoph Neumann-Haefelin from Cologne University Hospital explains clearly how these diseases develop and how to recognize warning signs, even though the liver often suffers silently for a long time without causing any symptoms.

A special focus of the evening is on prevention. After all, everyone can reduce their personal risk by eating right, exercising more and avoiding alcohol. The fact that there are ways to protect the liver without sacrificing enjoyment can also be experienced by all participants of the evening during a tasting of alcohol-free gin from Gin de Cologne.
