WDC-Pavillon in Offenbach: Demokratie beginnt Zuhause – Wir gestalten ein Visionsboard

In the organizer's words:

This interactive workshop invites participants to understand democracy not only as a political system, but also as a lived practice in everyday life - in partnerships, families, circles of friends and educational spaces. We invite participants to look inwards: What democratic values do I already carry within me?

How do I live them in everyday life - and where perhaps not yet? Based on this reflection, we work together to develop concrete ideas of what respectful, equal and responsible coexistence can look like - in both a private and social context. A central component of the workshop is the joint creation of a vision board: couples, families or groups visualize their common attitude, based on personal values and visions / wishes, in order to create a democratic way of interacting and living together. We set rules and standards that guide our actions. This results in concrete agreements and guidelines for everyday life. The result is a personal and collective work of art - as a visible commitment and reminder of how we want to live together.
