WDC-Pavillon in Offenbach: Diesterwegs Beet Mobil macht Station!

In the organizer's words:

Do you have surplus plant cuttings at home? Then bring them along! Together we will collect cuttings for the Diesterweg Beet Mobile, which will be built and planted in September. Grab a refreshment at the lemonade mobile and get to know the project and the people behind it with an exhibition, a map of the beds and other hands-on activities.

The scholarship holder families of the Diesterweg Scholarship will take on the role of experts: They present their previous experiences, enter into a dialog with passers-by and invite them to join in with small activities. The result is a low-threshold space for action and dialog about urban greenery, community and a growing green network in Offenbach.

Hands-on activities

• A photo exhibition, the first BeetMobil and communication benches make the project's progress to date visible.
• Possible locations for six future BeetMobiles are discussed and marked together on the Offenbach city map of the BeetMobiles.
• "One square meter city" (concept: Janina Albrecht) invites visitors to consciously perceive and reflect on urban soil.
• Those who want to get active themselves can contribute plant seedlings for future BeetMobiles.
• The Limo-Mobile will provide refreshments and offer space for discussions about the "edible city".
