Stick instead of racket
At the age of 16, Marie Jacquot swapped her tennis racket for a baton - today she is one of the most interesting conductors of her generation. After stints in Würzburg, Düsseldorf and Vienna, she is now starting her first season as chief conductor of the WDR Symphony Orchestra.
