The market is characterized by lovingly decorated little white houses. A glance at the roofs of the stalls reveals illuminated wooden stars, angel figurines and Christmas wreaths that sparkle. Countless stars shine down from the trees and angels in sparkling white robes parade through the alleyways, spreading a festive Advent atmosphere. In addition, St. Nicholas, accompanied by an angel on a horse, regularly makes his rounds through Neumarkt - and not just on St. Nicholas Day.
