Weinmarkt am Kölner Rheinufer

From July 16 to 26, 2026, the “Wine Market on the Banks of the Rhine in Cologne” will take place for the first time. Starting at the “Kap686” skate plaza at Rheinauhafen and heading toward Rodenkirchen, winemakers from Germany’s finest wine-growing regions and neighboring EU countries will offer their diverse range of products.

In addition to red, rosé, and white wines, exhibitors will also offer sparkling wines, seccos, grape juices, wine-based cocktails, and the occasional high-proof spirit.

The food selection includes grilled specialties from the famous “Grillkutsche,” tarte flambée, delicious open-faced sandwiches, and local specialties.

To create a cozy atmosphere where visitors can linger, there are not only bar tables right next to the winemakers’ stands but also tables and benches under the famous pagoda tents. These provide shelter not only from brief rain showers but also from direct sunlight.
