Weinmarkt auf dem Kölner Neumarkt

From October 8 to 18, 2026, the popular“Wine Market at Cologne’s Neumarkt”will take place once again. Right in the heart of downtown Cologne, on one of the busiest squares in this metropolis of over a million people, winemakers from Germany’s finest wine-growing regions and neighboring EU countries will offer their diverse range of products.

In addition to red, rosé, and white wines, exhibitors will also offer artisanal sparkling wines, seccos, grape juices, wine-based cocktails, and the occasional high-proof spirit.

The food selection includes grilled specialties from the famous Grillkutsche, tarte flambée, delicious open-faced sandwiches, and local specialties.

To create a cozy atmosphere where visitors can linger, there are not only bar tables right next to the winemakers’ stands but also tables and benches under the famous pagoda tents. These provide shelter not only from brief rain showers but also from direct sunlight.
