Riding the Waves of Perception - Event Description

A Ride on the Waves of Perception is a digital museum in your browser—a virtual space where art and spatial experience converge.

Visitors navigate independently through a virtual exhibition space. Proximity, distance, shifts in perspective, and orientation become part of the artistic experience. Jeremias Erdogan’s work explores how digital spaces can enable new forms of art education.

The digital museum does not see itself as a rival to traditional exhibition formats. Rather, it aims to open up new possibilities as a complement: an additional space where art can be experienced in an accessible, spatial, and independent way. As a result, it can also be relevant for people who have limited access to physical exhibition spaces due to mobility restrictions or other barriers to access.

The project is easily accessible and requires no VR headset, no app, and no installation. This makes it appealing even to people who have limited access to physical exhibition spaces.

A voluntary self-reflection feature within the project invites users to reflect on their own perceptions during the session. This feature is intended solely for personal reflection and is not a system for assessment, diagnosis, or evaluation.
