WELTKINDERTAG 2026

For more than three decades, Cologne has been celebrating a huge games festival in the city center every year. Countless play activities and information stands from various associations, institutions and organizations from Cologne society as well as two stages entertain and inform the tens of thousands of young and old visitors every year at the children's and family festival on World Children's Day in Cologne. This year, World Children's Day will take place on September 20, 2026 from 12:00 to 18:00 in the Rheinauhafen - Free admission!

A special highlight are the many colourful stands of Cologne's children and youth institutions and organizations, companies and associations as well as the great people who put their heart and soul into running them.
