"With hits from Al Jarreau to Sting, gospel, jazz classics and pop songs, we want to swing and jazz our way into the ears, hearts, hands and feet of our audience!" Bertrand Gröger
The jazz choir InTune, which has also arranged a large part of its repertoire itself, was founded in 1997. The choir currently consists of around 30 singers. Its repertoire includes vocal jazz from swing to blues to rock and pop, from loud to soft, exuberant to lyrical, impulsive to gentle, but always in a style all of its own. Since June 2014, the choir has been directed by Andreas Mitschke, who has already worked as a répétiteur and choir assistant for the MDR Children's Choir.
Elsa K. writes: We sing for you a cappella. Without instruments. Voices, bass and beats, pure into the microphone. The songs should caress with gentle sounds, grab you with intense harmonies and whirl turbulently with bass and beat. The repertoire is made up of their own songs and detailed arrangements of covers from a wide variety of genres, ranging from exuberant party moods to thematic seriousness - and from quiet songwriting to driving electronic sounds.
