The motto "Connecting words" can be experienced in our writing workshop. Our June meeting will focus on the special exhibition "OSTGEBIETE / ZIEMIE ZACHODNIE. A German-Polish search for traces" is the focus of our meeting in June. Photographers from Germany and Poland will enter into a visual dialog about memory, identity and transformation. With pen in hand, we will trace German-Polish perspectives on a shared space of remembrance that still holds history and stories for us today, which have the potential not only to better understand the present, but also to shape our future together.
We explore the exhibition and embark on a German-Polish search for traces. We will allow stories told, remembered and experienced to take root on paper and become fruitful. Even today, war, flight and the search for a new home are unfortunately still part of many people's reality - we give space to our thoughts, (collective) memories and hopes and use the creative power of writing to turn words into bridges. The writing workshop invites all people who like to experiment with words and language. We become the source of inspiration and are happy to take up the inspiration of others. Writing together becomes a dialog in which we can all learn something from each other and share with each other.
The writing workshop will be held in German, English and Polish, with writing in the language of your choice.
