X Ambassadors have been a tight-knit band of brothers and friends from the start, playing together for almost a decade and a half now. The two Harris brothers - vocalist Sam and keyboardist Casey - drummer Adam Levin and touring member Russ Flynn, who recently replaced original guitarist Noah Feldshuh, continue to electrify their fans with music that brings genres and generations together. Their debut record has since been certified platinum, while their early hits "Jungle", "Unsteady" and "Renegades" have long since become anthems and have been streamed billions of times. Her most recent record "The Beautiful Liar" from 2021, on the other hand, has a completely different approach: the concept album about a blind girl whose shadow is brought to life is not only a rich lesson on topics such as powerlessness and self-empowerment, fear and courage, doubt and affirmation. It is also structured like a radio play set in a world of its own. Or as Sam put it: "We created a space where we could all be as ugly, weird, funny and crazy as we wanted." The brothers paid homage to the beloved radio stories of their youth and used part of their biography as inspiration. After all, Sam himself has been blind since birth. Perhaps that is also one of the band's little secrets: being conspiratorial because they have so much in common and can therefore always trust each other completely. That's why Sam can throw himself into the tracks with his showpiece voice. He knows exactly that there will always be the music to catch and support his soulful figures and anthemic singalongs. The boys from Brooklyn are currently working on new material. The first singles have already been released this year, most recently the latest song "Devastation" together with Pamé a few days ago, and X Ambassadors will be touring Germany in February.
