Yacon Salsa - Latin Music

Yacon Salsa is a trio founded in 2018 by Luciano Alonso (piano), Isabel Cardona (conga), and Gustavo Filograsso (bongos). 

The band has made it its mission to promote salsa and Latin American culture in Brazil and around the world. Through tours in Latin America and Europe, the trio has already introduced itself to an international audience.

Yacon Salsa presents a rousing salsa show featuring the greatest classics of the ’70s and ’80s, particularly songs from the legendary Fania Records label. 

The live program takes the audience on a musical journey through the golden age of salsa—featuring hits by El Gran Combo, Rubén Blades, Héctor Lavoe, Sonora Ponceña, and many other greats of the genre.
