When YONAKA take the stage, they gather around them a Millennial Rock audience of the friendliest kind. With catchy melody progressions, an energetic rock attitude and an insane vocal power, the Brits cast a spell over a fanbase that is sure to be reminded here and there of some of their favorite bands from the old days like Limp Bizkit, Paramore, Rage Against The Machine or the punky chanting of Bonaparte. But these are far from the only influences YONAKA unite in their music - they bring a real genre beast with pop elements, fat hip-hop beats, furious punk rap and nu-metal to the stage. And that's what makes YONAKA so special: their sound is never consistent, the only guideline they have is their feelings. The trio consisting of Theresa Jarvis (vocals), Alex Crosby (bass) and George Werbrouck-Edwards (guitar) devote their songs especially to themes of mental health and self-determination. In the meantime, they have reached 150 million streams, played concerts with Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, The Libertines, Bring Me The Horizon and Nothing But Thieves, among others, and have already performed at countless festivals in Europe, the UK, America and Canada. After their outstanding second album "Seize the Power" YONAKA invite with their latest EP "Welcome to My House" their fans not in MTV Cribs allure in their modest four walls, but welcome all fans to get to know their emotional world. The band's lead singer, Theresa, explains that each song is a reminder of her feelings and that she wants to metaphorically open a door with the title to let the audience know which songs meant what to her at which time of her life. She also emphasizes how she wants to support her fans: "When you listen to us, I hope you feel empowered, heard, and like you're not alone. Hearing other people's stories has helped me heal and grow so much and I'd like to be that light for other people."
