Young Talents: Panimo

Lucas Kemmler (git/comp), Timon Krämer (db/comp), Henning Katz (dr)

When Lucas Kemmler (guitar), Timon Krämer (double bass) and Henning Katz (drums) came together in Hamburg at the end of 2022, they merged their diverse musical influences into an individual sound network: catchy melodies, complex rhythms and gripping harmonies. They present their own perspective on contemporary jazz and are inspired by the music of Wolfgang Muthspiel and Brian Blade, for example. With their compositions, mostly penned by guitarist Lucas Kemmler, they set themselves the self-imposed task of uniting the contradictions between simplicity and complexity, tension and relaxation - a dynamic that significantly characterizes the interplay of the three friends and musicians in a small trio line-up. They have already performed at JazzBaltica, the Futurum Jazz Festival and the Altonale, among others. Their first album "Cerro Torre" was released in July 2024 and has been available digitally and on CD since then.
