In the organizer's words:

Zack Keim finds inspiration everywhere - even during Uber Eats rides through Washington, D.C. This is how "Canyon", a bouncy folk-pop song and Keim's new artistic beginning, came about. The singer-songwriter from Pittsburgh combines raw garage rock with melodic, psychedelically tinged songwriting tradition.

Growing up near Pittsburgh, Keim gained stage experience early on, toured internationally with his garage punk band Nox Boys and released his solo debut First Step in 2017. After pandemic-related upheavals, he opened up his sound to new timbres, keyboards and more complex arrangements.

With songs such as "Canyon" and "Better Days", Keim now presents himself as mature and independent. "Better Days" was turned into a stadium anthem by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is currently working on his second solo album Battery Lane, which is particularly impressive live.
