The name Küste sounds like a cold, wet November day, the sound of the sea and screaming seagulls on the rough Baltic Sea. But Küste are in fact the maritime German-language indie punk anchor from the shallows of the greater Stuttgart area, with home ports in Ludwigsburg and Tübingen. Driven by sound waves from bands such as Turbostaat, Akne Kid Joe and Pascow, the four-piece band came together in the effervescent year 2020 and used the time between various lockdown phases to work on their debut EP "Verloren." which will be released in summer 2022. After their first two singles Einfach Kotzen and Hier & Jetzt, which were released in 2020, the new songs hint at the true spirit of Küste:
Often stormy, sometimes gentle - definitely punk.
