Zucchini Sistaz - Weihnachten mit den Zucchini Sistaz

The bells never ring sweeter than at the Zucchini concert… And that’s why, as the year comes to a close, these three angelic ladies in green are treating us to Christmas carols from all over the world.

“There used to be more tinsel?” Then you haven’t celebrated Christmas with the Zucchini Sistaz yet! Because to conjure up that festive Christmas spirit, all the senses must be engaged. For these three captivatingly charming hostesses on stage, that involves far more than just a recorder: festive green evening gowns, cracking nuts and peeling mandarins together, the authentic soundscape from the famous stable, the Christmas cookie ABC, and—for once—winter-themed original compositions in red and white for double bass, guitar, and trumpet.
And that’s not all: the concert is festively adorned with the sparkling timbres of the flugelhorn, clarinet, glockenspiel, accordion, ukulele, trombone, and many other surprises from the Zucchini Advent calendar.
The fact that the Zucchini Sistaz have no need to hide their light under a bushel is proven by their joint tours with, among others, Götz Alsmann, the SWR Big Band, the Geschwister Pfister, and Gerburg Jahnke.
With around 100 performances a year, they have earned a loyal and steadily growing audience that appreciates the meticulously crafted total work of art that is “Zucchini Sistaz.”
