Zwei Partnerstädte, zwei Chöre, ein Konzert

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Cologne choir DE VIVE VOIX (conductor: Simon Rummel) will meet with the choir HELLEMMOIS CHANTONS (conductor: Ludivine Debacq) from our French twin city of Lille for their first joint concert.

80 choristers from both cities invite you to a repertoire of French chansons and current pop songs and accompany you on a musical journey through France.

Under the motto "Two twin cities, two choirs, one concert", both choirs will make the exchange of Franco-German friendship and town twinning between Cologne and Lille tangible and audible. The concert will take place on May 9, 2026, this year's Europe Day - commemorating the founding of the European Union and a symbol of unity and peace in Europe since 1950.

Come to the Bürgerhaus Stollwerck, let yourself be surprised and seduced by French music!
