In the organizer's words:

In 2024, the DG Kunstraum is dedicated to the intellectual and artistic aspects of being in-between.

After a short tour of the exhibition, we want to take up and examine the in-between in a creative workshop. The self and the other, the here and elsewhere, the digital and analog world... the in-between is neither the one nor the other and invites us to reflect on the relationship between the opposites.

We take up these themes and create our own mini-zines - folded booklets filled with tiny drawings, messages or collages that become small mixed-media works of art. The children and young people are given the opportunity, space and guidance to reflect on their own 'in-between-ness' in their lives and to process it artistically. With the consent of the individual participants, the mini-zines will also be exhibited in an ongoing installation in the DG art space: an exchange is created that connects the DG exhibition space with the creative space.

The workshop lasts 2 hours with a short break, water and tea are provided in the DG Kunstraum, materials or special clothing are not required or provided by the DG Kunstraum.
