The group exhibition 'Zwischen/drin' not only describes the space between the digital and the physical world. It also deals with the position of artists in a time of global upheaval. It expresses the fact that media such as photography, creative coding, AI, live VJing, painting and digital illustration have become an integral part of the current understanding of art. They serve to negotiate the question of the search for identity, as well as the associated processes of demarcation, in the tech-savvy milieu of the 21st century. We move daily in a globally networked, digital world, while our reality is permeated with social and political boundaries. The exhibition is intended to create a space that opens up interstices and invites dialog.
