We are Josef Hinkel, who, together with his wife Nicole, daughter Sophie and his dedicated and talented team, is the fourth generation to delight bread lovers from Düsseldorf and all over the world.

The Hinkel bakery was founded back in 1891 and sustainable, artisan production methods using only natural sourdough and raw materials and a strong pinch of passion have always been at the heart of the bakery business.
