Modern antiquarian bookshop

The bodo e.V., which most people know through "bodo - Das Straßenmagazin" (bodo - the street magazine), also runs a second-hand bookstore that we fell in love with right away. If you love the smell of old books, are inspired by old classics and new super thrillers, if you are looking for cookbooks from grandma's time or just need some inspiration for a vegan diet AND if you love antiques and are looking for a very special book treasure, you will find it here. The selection of books that bookseller Suzanne Präkelt receives as donations in kind is colorful. "We only sift through and take books that are still in good condition," she tells us and leads us first through the front part of the bookstore and then to the "back" part. The part where the real treasures are. Antiques, old encyclopedias, children's books from great-grandma. "We are sometimes approached by libraries when they need a particular book for their catalog," Suzanne explains to us. In addition to the classic book, a huge fund of audio books has also collected here. Games and DVDs round out the selection. "But we're also always happy to accept donations in kind, such as warm clothing or sleeping bags - these then go straight over to our BODO sellers."
