DSG und Rom im MüZe

Founded in 1984, the Centrum Schwule Geschichte (CSG) is one of the oldest specialized archives in this field and a firm institution of the queer community of the Rhineland. Only during the museum night the CSG makes a guest appearance with its exhibition in the community center MüZe, where one is socially engaged. The current sponsor inter-Kultur e.V. offers various consultations and tries to strengthen the solidary coexistence in the neighborhood. The cooperation between CSG and MüZe, which was launched on the occasion of the Museum Night 2022, is entering its second round.

"Objects tell history"

On the occasion of the upcoming 40th CSG anniversary, selected pieces from the object collection tell gay history in Cologne. Aids and HIV are as much a topic as the Cologne CSD, the subculture and scene locales as well as sporting events of the LBSTIQ community. Audio and video stations round out the exhibition, which will be on view exclusively and only during Museum Night.
