The Flora and Botanical Garden are open during the following times:

Garden: The garden is open daily from 8 a.m. to sunset(www.koeln-wetter.de), but until 9 p.m. at the latest. An announcement will be made when it is about to close. Free admission.

The Subtropical House is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm.

Special note:

Among other things, dogs are not permitted in the Flora and the Botanical Garden. Barbecues and picnics are also prohibited. Bicycles and paths are also prohibited.

Accessibility

The entrance area is fully accessible for wheelchair users. Access at ground level maximum 3 centimeters or via ramp maximum 6 percent gradient. The door width is greater than 90 centimeters.

The disabled toilet is located in the Flora building. This has limited access for wheelchair users. The door width is 87 centimeters. There is 50 centimetres of space to the left of the toilet, 108 centimetres to the right and 179 centimetres in front of it. There is a support handle.

The paths in the Flora are easy to navigate with a wheelchair, except for a hill with alpine mountain flora.

Marked disabled parking spaces are located in the Flora parking lot. Further parking spaces are available under the zoo bridge.
