The Fuhrwerkswaage is a renowned art gallery in Cologne's Sürth district, which has made a significant contribution to the contemporary art scene since it was founded in 1978. Originally established as a private art space, it has been run by the Förderverein Kunstraum Fuhrwerkswaage e.V. since 1990 and changed its sponsorship to Fuhrwerkswaage Kunstraum gGmbH in 2023.

It presents a diverse exhibition program that offers a platform for both up-and-coming and established artists. One highlight is the biennial event "new talents - biennale cologne", which offers young artists from the Rhineland a stage.

The MOUNTAINVIEW Gallery - a nine-part exhibition situation with a detached program - is located on the outer façade of the hall.

The Fuhrwerkswaage is located at Bergstraße 79, 50999 Cologne-Sürth. Despite its location outside the center of Cologne, it has established itself as an important venue for contemporary art. The exhibition hall is easily accessible by tram lines 16 and 17 and bus lines 131, 133 and 134.
