Haus der Jugend

The focal point for youth (association) work in Düsseldorf is the Haus der Jugend. Since 1995, the Jugendring Düsseldorf has been using the former municipal youth leisure facility on Lacombletstraße as its headquarters and for its own events. We share the building in a friendly neighborhood with the Junge Aktionsbühne (JAB), an institution of the Düsseldorf Youth Welfare Office (Youth Promotion Department), the Lacombletstraße daycare center and the Azubi-Wohnen.

There's always something going on here: the Fan Café organized by the Düsseldorf Fan Project takes place every Monday. Well-attended readings, theater performances and concerts are held at irregular intervals.
