Kreativraum D

KreativRaum D is a project funded by the City of Düsseldorf as part of the federal program "Sustainable inner cities and centers". At the interface between urban society and administration, the KreativRaum D team works in close cooperation with the Department of Culture on the question of how the development of creative uses of spaces and areas can be stimulated, supported and sustainably established.

As part of a real-world laboratory in the district around Worringer Platz, the KreativRaum D team is developing solutions to this issue and testing new networks, structures and offers. The aim is to create long-lasting structures in order to strengthen the cultural and creative scene in this district, counteract vacancies, activate urban qualities (quality of stay) and thereby increase the quality of life in the district in the long term.
