The Lichtung is one of those locations you have to know if you want to see and hear new, unknown, but still high-quality artists. In a top location directly on Chlodwigplatz, you can listen to music here almost every day (Monday is a day off). In the wide field of cultural life and work, the Lichtung is supposed to be a place for curious and experimental people.

Especially the newcomers should get a place where they are heard. The motto is often free admission, the hat donations then go to the artists. The Kulturcafe is divided into the basement with a stage, which is used by louder bands and for dancing, and the café upstairs. Here you will find the quieter sounds, now and then also a reading. At the monthly Acoustic Slam, three different artists compete against each other. A colorful program, be sure to stop by!
