The still brand-new Museum Raffael Becker (since March 2022) is dedicated to the artistic legacy of the Cologne painter of the same name, who devoted himself to the lives of his fellow human beings with great humor and attention to detail. True to his motto "few exhibitions, no travel", he worked daily on his commissions and works. He found inspiration for his motifs in Cologne traditions, carnival, the circus world and everyday life. Paintings and drawings from all of Becker's creative phases can be found on three floors; furnishings are on display, as are textile works and the antique doll collection of his wife Ingeborg.
