At Strandkai, a quarter is being created that combines the most impressive facets of the Hanseatic city. As one of the final project areas in the otherwise already well-developed and lively western HafenCity, Strandkai is a long-awaited milestone. As a cultural centerpiece, the quarter with its associated buildings and open spaces will be a special place just waiting to be enlivened with creative ideas.

The direct Elbe location of the public open spaces at Strandkai, Hübnerkai and Strandhöft provides a spectacular view. In addition, the new quarter will have an outstanding impact on Hamburg's southern skyline, which can be seen from the Elbe bridges and Grasbrook. Together with the Elbphilharmonie concert hall, it also marks the unmistakable face of HafenCity towards the Elbe from the Landungsbrücken.
