The Volksbühne am Rudolfplatz gGmbH offers a diverse cultural program all year round with events from the genres of theater, music, literature, political cabaret, comedy and cabaret. And all this in Cologne's oldest surviving theater, which was also home to the famous Millowitsch folk theater from 1936 to March 2018.

The varied program attracts many visitors every evening, a theater for all ages!

Our theater hall is located on the second floor and is accessible via a staircase with 30 steps. From September 1, 2019, wheelchair users will be able to access the auditorium via a platform lift (total permitted dimensions for person and wheelchair: width: max. 70cm / length: max. 90 cm / weight: max. 300kg).

The auditorium has two seats for wheelchair users, each with a seat for an accompanying person directly next to it. The seats for wheelchair users and accompanying persons are located in row 12 and can be reserved up to one week before the event by emailing rollstuhlplatz@volksbuehne-rudolfplatz.debuchbar.

A barrier-free toilet is located on the first floor.
