The former candle and wax factory is an artists' quarter in the south of Cologne between Rodenkirchen and Sürth. It consists of a total of 25 studios and lofts in which creative people and artists work and live. Behind the My Dagis daycare center, you'll find the old factory halls with floor-to-ceiling workshop windows and meter-high interiors.

The new G'ART'EN in the Wachsfabrik is operated by sieben8 events - agency for live communication - and offers a lot of space for company events, small open-air concerts and events with an industrial canopy in a casual beer garden atmosphere.

The art center Wachsfabrik consists of various artists:inside of different genres and represents until today the idea of the artistic work in community, idyll, peace and freedom.

Between the studios hide the cozy café in the wax factory and the studios of the network for dance and performances - Barnes Crossing.
