In the Werksviertel-Mitte, our extraordinary WERK7 theater has opened its doors again since 2021. The special thing about it? The 180 degree stage and the urban charm. The audience walks directly across the stage when entering the auditorium and is thus rarely as close to the stage action as here. The closeness between spectator and performer, as well as the intimate setting, make the theater experience unique.

An extraordinary theater in Munich

With the WERK7 theater we create an open theater and offer small productions the possibility of realization. The program is exciting, different and diverse. From our own productions to guest performances, workshops and plays on the premises of Werksviertel-Mitte. Our program has something for every theater lover, with a wide range of solo plays like CAVEMAN and CAVEWOMAN, multimedia theater à la LONGJOHN, and off-Broadway musicals like TITLE OF THE SHOW. With our first own event series "SoundWERK7" we regularly take you to different musical worlds. From musical evenings, to classical music, to swing and jazz of the 20s. The aim is to try out and experience new things. Experience special plays, talented performers and stirring music.

A theater with a glimpse behind the scenes

We have also developed exciting offers for school classes and companies. Cultural exchange is important to us, which is why we are launching the project "WERK7 theater goes Schule". Here, we invite school classes to rehearsals and talks with our performers in order to give students an understanding of theater in practice. You can also book our "Merry Musical - The werktastic Christmas Concert" as a Christmas party. Included: four great soloists from the musical world, accompanied by live music.

Every theater lives from its audience, therefore we invite you already one hour before the performance starts to have a drink at the bar and to start relaxed into the theater evening. After the performance, we will be happy to facilitate an exchange between the audience and the performers.
