&wieder. Ein Raum für Kunst

The &wieder is a creative space for cultural workers and artists. Here, ideas can bubble and be implemented: On weekends, the &wieder becomes an exhibition space for local artists. On an area of about 30 m², local artists, project groups, students of fine arts and other exhibition projects have the opportunity to exhibit their works between one week and one month. As a young art space in the north of Cologne, &wieder is intended to provide a space for up-and-coming artists who are beginning to find their way in the art and exhibition scene. No matter if you have already exhibited several times or if you have never exhibited before - the &wieder can host exhibitions of any kind of fine arts: From painting, illustration, multimedia installations, sculpture, graphics or photography, everything may be there. In addition, the space can be rented for readings, small concerts, film screenings, panel discussions or the like.

In keeping with our sustainability philosophy, we want to make the space as usable and accessible as possible. For this reason, the bright corner space is used as a shared office from Monday to Friday. The co-working space offers the possibility to pursue one's own work in a creative place and at the same time to have a valuable exchange with other actors of the Cologne cultural scene. Exhibitions and vernissages fill the space with even more life and art - thus creating a platform for artists and strengthening Cologne's independent cultural scene. Furthermore, with the &wieder, another art and cultural space for the Nippeser Veedel is to be created, which contributes to the promotion of the neighborhood.

Das &wieder ist unter der Woche für Mieter:innen des Co-Working ganztägig geöffnet. An den Wochenenden finden regelmäßig Vernissagen und andere Kulturevents statt. Die Termine werden vorab kommuniziert. Anfragen via Mail an space@daskulturgetriebe.de
