The back story: Rosa used to run the Soulyoga studio in the Saarlandstraßenviertel, which has since closed. When yogis kept asking for the right clothes and equipment, she decided, together with a friend and fellow teacher, to open a store and offer these things herself. And since there had previously been a kiosk in their store in the Saarlandstraßenviertel, the name was obvious: The Yogabude was born!

As a Pottkind, Rosa loves this association. Even though yoga is a lot about inner tidiness, the Yogabude, which she now runs alone, offers more of a mixed bag: In addition to yoga and acupuncture mats, yoga blocks and clothing, meditation cushions and incense, you'll also find accessories like Buddha statues, bracelets and dream catchers, as well as many books on the topics of mindfulness and meditation. In short: everything for the yogi lifestyle.

Rosa intentionally has the store so "full" because she herself loves to rummage around and discover new little things even in well-known stores. She likes this vibe in Cologne and Berlin and would like to see it in Dortmund as well: just stroll around and be surprised and inspired by the range of small individual stores.

That's totally true of her yoga booth. The atmosphere is totally relaxed - a space to feel good. When choosing her assortment, Rosa makes sure that it is only things that she owns herself or would like to have. And as a long-time yoga teacher, she knows exactly what works in practice - for example, which clothes are perfect, so they don't slip and fit comfortably. Anyone who has ever done yoga can confirm how important this is.
