Empire Zero One

Empire Zero One was a temporary art space in Cologne-Ehrenfeld from June 2023 to November 2025, initiated by the experienced curator and cultural manager Iren Tonoian. In a listed industrial building at Leyendeckerstraße 9, Tonoian presented solo and group exhibitions of contemporary artists from various disciplines and backgrounds. From November 2025, the art space will continue nomadically for the time being. In the past, the ambitious curator has repeatedly demonstrated her extraordinary talent for tracking down and staging new, unusual art venues and artists, not least as part of the CityLeaks urban art festival and numerous exhibitions for artrmx e.V.
