Who We Are:

We’re Annika and Sayneb, and we love cake!

At the end of 2024, we first heard about the idea of the “Cake Picnic” and were thrilled by the concept, but we wanted more than just cake. We want to bring people together with music, community, games, and as much cake as you want.We wondered why no one in our area was offering an event like this. And that’s exactly our mission: to bring the Cake Picnic to North Rhine-Westphalia and turn it into a summer festival for everyone. 

What is a Cake Event?

Imagine a long table full of homemade cakes and pies—a colorful mix of grandma’s secret recipes, creative original creations, and sweet surprises. You bring your homemade cake, so together we can create a huge cake buffet. And because that sounds pretty much like an unattainable childhood dream, we want to provide a place for people of all ages who want to make that dream come true. With surprises for amateur bakers of all ages. 

While you’re here, you can eat as much cake as you’d like and even take some home with you later. We’ll donate the rest to those in need, so nothing goes to waste.

During the event, you can vote for the best-looking cake. The winners will receive a prize!
