New Swing Generation e.V. was the first organization in northern Germany to bring Lindy Hop to Hamburg in 1998 and has helped shape the city’s swing dance culture ever since.

With us, you can learn and experience Lindy Hop, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, Blues, Solo Jazz, Rockabilly Jive, and Slow Swing—through classes, workshops, dance nights, parties, and live music.

You’re welcome to join us, whether you have prior experience or not, and whether you come alone or with a partner.
You don’t need a regular dance partner for our classes, workshops, and events.

We stand for an open, respectful, and diverse swing community in Hamburg.
