As the SCHLiNGEL film festival, we have been bringing international films for children and young audiences to the big screen in Chemnitz for 30 years. Every year, in the week before the Saxon autumn vacations, young people and film fans of all ages have the opportunity to sit back in their cinema seats and immerse themselves in faraway countries and other cultures. As a special highlight, viewers can look forward to national and international actors, directors and producers talking to the audience directly in the movie theater and providing exciting insights behind the scenes. The film screenings are accompanied by a colorful supporting program.
