We, the FC Foundation, are responsible for social commitment at FC Köln. Our aim is to enable participation in FC and thus also participation in society. We often focus on people for whom it is difficult to participate in the FC for a variety of reasons - sometimes due to physical, sometimes due to financial circumstances. In many of our projects, we use sport and the fun of exercise to enable participation in FC Köln. Through sport, we manage to bring people together, create a sense of community, promote social skills and ensure that people feel a sense of belonging. First and foremost, our projects take place directly where people spend their everyday lives: in the individual districts, on the left and right bank of the Rhine, on the sports field, in daycare centers, schools or in leisure facilities. As we want to have an impact where 1 FC Köln is at home, we are involved regionally.
