In the artist's words:

12 years of "Anchora" means: 12 years of fresh, unconventional and exciting choral life for and by young adults in Freising. Under the choir direction of Mimi Neumair and with arrangements by Lukas Mario Maier, they delight their audience twice a year with self-made, diverse and touching concert experiences: sometimes courageous, sometimes thoughtful, but always original and entertaining. Accompanied by first-class musicians in the band and string quartet, the charming ensemble particularly enjoys finding new inspiration in the local pop music scene, premiering songs they have written themselves and presenting themselves with fantastic soloists, creative choreography and an atmospheric light show.
