...is a male choral society as you would imagine it?

The elegant performance in tails and top hats is of course reminiscent of the Comedian Harmonists. However, the repertoire and lyrics are anything but old-fashioned: from classical to pop and from jazz to pop songs, everything is included. Each song is arranged specifically for Eufonia. The Eufonists are also famous for their arrangements of opera, musical and film melodies. All in all, a music show full of surprises. The sound is velvety - even the softer tones are not neglected - and the common thread running through the program is contemporary and offers the finest entertainment with cabaret tips. The Eufonists don't take themselves too seriously, so the main ingredient is tongue-in-cheek irony - just like their great role models from the 1920s.
