About the Festival:

The Beethovenfest Bonn is one of the largest and most innovative classical music festivals in Germany. Beethoven spent his childhood and youth in Bonn and experienced his most formative years here. As a festival, we aim to carry on the spirit of the young, progressive, and engaged Beethoven and create an environment where artists can bring Beethoven’s work to life in the 21st century. Every September, we therefore celebrate Beethoven’s music with around 80 concerts—ranging from major international orchestras to pop acts—as well as talks, exhibitions, and workshops for everyone.
