Inklusives Musik-, Tanz- und Theaterprojekt

In the artist's words:

Theater et cetera is an inclusive music, dance and theater project for people
project for people with and without mental disabilities. It emerged from the inclusive project Theater Apropos, which was originally conceived
Theater Apropos, which was founded in 1998 with the aim of creating a therapy-free space for those affected to develop their artistic abilities and individual creativity. Over time, it became apparent that many of the participants not only had acting talent but also a wide range of musical potential, which they presented on stage in later plays.

As a result, Anton Prestele continuously developed the theater project in the direction of music, and in 2021 an independent music group was founded, for which the non-profit association THEATER et cetera e. V. has been the sponsor since 2024. In addition to the intensive rehearsal of musical pieces, the musical concept also includes arrangements tailored to the individual interests and abilities of the participants, ranging from classical arias to jazz, pop and rap.

After the world premiere on September 11, 2025, "IN MEMORIAM - Der Mensch das Spiel" will be revived on Fri. 6 & Sat. 7 March at the TamS Theater, the inclusive music and dance theater project.

Public performances with jointly compiled programmes are intended to help break down prejudices, raise social awareness of mental illness and destigmatize those affected.
